Legal, Privacy and Service Level Agreement Information    Because Bluedog Lrd. is an Irish limited company and Bluedog Inc. is an American corporation, we have to make certain delcarations and statements to keep everyone informed. This document also contains the basis of our Service Level Agreement.

Consumption of BlueDog products and services may be governed by a separate privacy policy, user agreement, and service level agreement (SLA).

Data Protection and Privacy
Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 October 1995 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. We strive to remain in compliance with Ireland’s existing Data Protection Act (1988), which gives effect to Council of Europe Conventions on data protection.

The 1998 Act provides for regulation of the processing of information relating to personal data about people through which they may be individually identified.

It regulates the processing of information which, as far as BlueDog is concerned, will relate mainly to BlueDog's own staff, applicants for temporary and permanent engagements, clients who are individuals or partnerships (not limited companies) and details of potential client individuals who are held on BlueDog's marketing database. Companies consent to providing additional details that may or may not conform to the standards and practices outlined here.

The Act's requirements extend to relevant personal data obtained, recorded or held by BlueDog and the organization, retrieval, use, disclosure or destruction of relevant data.

As a consumer of BlueDog products and services, you can be assured that we will obtain personal information fairly and openly, and only when absolutely necessary to provide such products and services to you.

In general business practices as carried out by BlueDog, either party to a transaction is free to share information derived from the transaction for lawful purposes. We provide an "Opt-out" option, giving you an opportunity to refuse the sharing of information about yourself. However, to the extent that you are a consumer of BlueDog products or services, certain data (your name, email address, password, financial data such as payment method, credit card information, billing address) will be retained in our encrypted persistent data store, maintained on our servers in our guarded, secure data centers in the U.S., Canda, or Ireland.

We will use personal data only in ways compatible with the purpose for which it was given in the first place and secure it against unauthorized access or loss. As part of our evergreen process, we will ensure that your personal is kept accurate and up to date; retention will expire if you are inactive for more than one year.

We will not further process your personal data in a manner incompatible with the purposes for which it was given. Be aware that BlueDog makes, employs, and sells personalization software tools that have a separate privacy provision only valid when users consume such a product or service.

BlueDog has taken and continues to take the requisite steps needed within its business organization to comply with the data protection principles contained in the Directive and appropriate U.S. law and localized business practices. BlueDog monitors its compliance on a continual basis as a matter of good business practice.

BlueDog is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of its clients and to upholding data protection principles in accordance with the above referenced standards.

Relevant company information and contact details will be held on our database and used to facilitate the search for appropriate products or services which you have asked us to provide.
BlueDog will take appropriate technical and organizational measures against unauthorized or unlawful processing and accidental loss, destruction or damage to personal data.
Personal data will be processed in accordance with the rights of the data subject under the E.U. Directive and appropriate U.S. law.
Personal data will be kept up to date wherever reasonably possible and will be kept no longer than necessary for the purposes for which it is processed and authorized for use. If at any time you wish to have us delete, update or amend the details we hold about you, please advise info @ bluedog . net.
We may share your details with other divisions within our group who provide a related service which facilitates the service or product you require from us. We will not pass on your details to any third party outside the BlueDog business conglomerate without your prior written consent.
Should you engage with us to purchase our products or services, we will require to hold pertinent financial details about your company for financial and accounting purposes.
We must draw to your attention that, in some circumstances, information may be transmitted to and stored on secure servers of our associated companies outside the E.U., for use only by authorized staff in connection with BlueDog's business activities. An intra-group agreement regarding Data Protection compliance is in place. Unless notified otherwise, we assume your consent is given.
When you submit a C.V. for a position vacancy, unless you instruct us not to do so, we will retain your specific skill requirements in our database for one year, but your details will not be divulged until such time as you wish to be interviewed.

BlueDog does not capture or store any personal information about individuals who access this website, except where they voluntarily choose to give us their personal details by email or by registering with us in our database. All content available through the Site, including but not limited to data, technical drawings, configurations, quote and order information, and catalog listings is believed to be accurate. However, you should independently evaluate the accuracy of the information and the usefulness for your particular needs of any content, product or service available through the Site. Specifications for products and services are subject to change without notice, and BlueDog reserves the right to make changes without notice to processing, materials, or configuration. 10. General.

Applicable Law. These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, the federal laws of the United States of America, the laws of the Republic of Ireland and directives of the European Union, without giving effect to its conflict of laws provisions. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located within the Republic of Ireland.

Other. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and BlueDog governing your use of the Site. Should any provision in these terms be found invalid or unenforceable for any reason, then that provision shall be deemed severable from the terms and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions. You agree that any claim arising out of or related to the terms or your use of the Site must be filed within one year after it arose or be permanently barred.
